  Topic:  Overpayments- What do they require

  Learn the rules when taking deductions from an employee’s pay for overpayment of wages, whether one must obtain the employee’s permission for the deduction, how the minimum wage affects deductions, and the different state and federal rules. In addition, we’ll review the payroll tax process to recoup payments crossing quarters, and years, and the impact on the employer and employee’s tax filings.
