About Us |
Founded in 1999, the Northern Lights Alaska Chapter (NLAC) has proudly served payroll professionals for 25 years. We offer FPC/CPP certification classes each Spring and Fall, monthly member meetings that provide RCH credits, valuable networking opportunities, and an annual statewide payroll conference. Our members are the backbone of our chapter, enabling us to expand our offerings and support both colleagues and the community.
Our vibrant organization consists of payroll professionals from Anchorage and surrounding areas, ranging from newcomers to seasoned veterans. This dynamic group is recognized locally, statewide, and nationally for its energy and commitment. Our founders recognized the need for a supportive community where payroll professionals could learn and excel while staying informed about ever-changing laws and regulations.
Although membership may fluctuate, the NLAC maintains a strong foundation of dedicated individuals who prioritize continuous learning and recognition that goes beyond typical professional organizations. Through community service initiatives, we connect with local nonprofits, addressing real issues and contributing to a better Alaska.
We invite you to join us at our meetings to network, share knowledge, and expand your professional horizons. Engaging with fellow members can lead to unexpected opportunities and enhance your value within your community and workplace.
Remember, at the Northern Lights Alaska Chapter, OUR MEMBERS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! While we are affiliated with Payroll Org (formerly the American Payroll Association), we operate as an independent organization. Payroll Org is not liable for the activities or statements of its affiliated chapters.
